GEOL 409 - Micropaleontology
Morphology, classification, preparation techniques, and evolution of paleontologically significant microfossil groups and their biostratigraphic and paleoecologic significance. Emphasizes foraminifera, conodonts, and ostracodes. Regularly scheduled laboratory. Includes an immersion experience. Prerequisite: GEOL 308 or permission of the department chairperson.
