ACC 415 - Practicum in Individual Income Tax |
In this course, students provide tax preparation assistance to individuals with their income tax returns who qualify under the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Students develop client-relation skills while applying tax knowledge obtained through IRS VITA certification and related coursework. Students also work on a best practices project throughout the semester which defines or refines an aspect of the program to improve client outcomes and the student learning experience.
