ENGR 416 - Heat and Mass Transfer |
Heat transfer processes will be covered, including energy conservation, conduction, convection, and thermal radiation. Emphasis in this course will be over mechanical engineering applications to heat transfer applications. Equations for chemical species conservation, diffusion, and macroscopic balances as applied to chemical engineering operations will also be covered.
Pre-requisites: ENGR 207 and ENGR 413, each with a C- or better
