JOUR 437 - Advanced Photographic Storytelling |
This advanced course focuses on the professional development of photographic storytellers, photojournalists and visual communicators. Students will engage in individual and group photographic storytelling and visual communication projects. Student expectations will depend on registered course credit hours and class standing in this variable credit collaborative instructional environment. Photographic Storytelling students will demonstrate professional-level, capstone competence upon completion of minimum required hours through advanced engagement in (1) photographic storytelling, (2) visual communication, and/or (3) development of story forms, news platforms, multimedia apps, and other digital assets. A total of 12 credits may be earned. Requires instructor permission.
Prerequisite: JOUR 335.
