LSCM 452 - Inventory and Procurement Management |
Focuses on inventory and procurement management, production planning, and scheduling activities in the entire supply chain in manufacturing and service organizations. Topics include forecasting, inventory management models, order quantities with level demand, lot sizing with time-varying demand, individual items with probabilistic demand, physical inventory and warehouse management, physical distribution, and other contemporary subjects.
Prerequisite: ISOM 251 or ISOM 351 or permission of the department chairperson.
