NUTR 499 - Research in Dietetics |
This individualized, mentor-directed course immerses students in various aspects of nutrition research. Students will work alongside a faculty mentor to develop hands-on skills while completing tasks related to the faculty's area of research expertise. Tasks will vary by discipline and faculty specialization, and may include study design, recruitment and data collection, data entry, and evaluation. Approval must be granted by the department chair prior to enrollment. (1-3 credits: a total of 9 credits may be earned).
