In this course, students will gain an understanding of critical legal and regulatory issues which impact real estate development project decision making. Topics include specific legal instruments necessary for closing transactions such as deeds, title policies, purchase agreements, leases, options, and mortgages. Students will study various types of legal structures used for real estate projects, while reviewing important legal documents which impact development decision making.
