Examines assessment of different language skills (e.g., listening, speaking, writing, reading, grammar) in second language, with a focus on English language learners. Explores various methods of assessment and measurement, such as formative and summative assessments. Prerequisite: ENG 616 or ENG 617; permission of the department chairperson.
