Emphasizes the principles and methods used to describe and evaluate the patterns of contemporary health problems in communities and population subgroups. Methods and research designs used in the investigation of the etiological causes of disease are presented.
Prerequisites: None; recommended prior course in undergraduate biostatistics and/or epidemiology.
