Independent research for biology majors at the master's or doctoral level. Students' research projects must be developed in consultation with a faculty member. As many as 6 credits may be applied toward a master's degree. As many as 12 credits may be applied to a doctoral degree. No more than 3 credits may be taken in one semester. Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson. A total of 6 credits may be earned for the Master's and 12 credits for the PhD, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term.
