ECON 202 - Elementary Macroeconomics
Elementary Macroeconomics focuses on how market participants and governing authorities interact in the economy. Students will learn how people respond to governing authorities who craft and enforce rules, collect taxes, provide public goods, and manage the money supply. Topics include measuring price levels, inflation, unemployment, economic productivity and growth, and monetary and fiscal policy. Topics also include how and when rules encourage economic growth, influence economic fluctuations, affect economic inequality, and improve the quality of life. Prerequisite: ECON 201 Min Grade: C-
