EDRD 390 - Early Emergent Literacy |
Basic understanding of environments and planned activities that foster positive attitudes and interests related to literacy, procedures that stimulate early literacy development, and related practical reading and writing experiences with young children. Understanding of theoretical underpinnings of early literacy are also explored. Intended for those interested in prekindergarten through second-grade classroom teaching.
Prerequisite: C or better in EDRD 300.
