Examines the relationship between the government and the electronic media in the United States. History and philosophy of the regulatory process and its effects on traditional and emerging media. Not open to students who have credit in NEWS 449.
Prerequisite: MDIA 284 or TCOM 284; Junior standing.
Open only to approved Media or Telecommunications majors and minors.
