There are many roles housing officers need to play within the Division of Student Affairs. This seminar will include working with a student from the time they turn in their housing application until the time they graduate. This seminar will also include discussions on marketing, community development, facilities, finances, crisis management, living learning communities, and campus partners. This seminar is open to all first-year SAAHE students.

Introduction to Disability Ser - 25482 - EDHI 690 - 2B | ||||||||||||||
This seminar experience is designed to give the graduate student a broad exposure to the operation of a postsecondary disability services office and the issues faced by Student Affairs’ professionals working in disability services. Seminar students will gain a familiarity with the basic disability types (mobility, vision, hearing, learning, psychiatric, etc.) and the ways in which students with disabilities are accommodated.
