GEOL 570 - Groundwater Geochemistry
Introduces the processes controlling the composition of natural waters: streams, lakes, oceans, and near-surface ground waters. Focuses on the effects of human activities, biological systems, and inorganic geochemistry processes on water chemistry. Prerequisite: GEOL 101; CHEM 111, 112; or permission of the department chairperson. Not open to students who have credit in GEOL 470.
