MATH 102 - Academic Skills for Success in College Algebra |
Reviews fundamental concepts of algebra and pre-algebra; covers fractions, real numbers, numerical and algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities. This course also includes valuable study skill reviews such as note taking, reading math texts, organization, time management, etc. Offered credit/no credit only.
Recommended Background: Three years of college preparatory mathematics in high school or equivalent.
Open only to students currently enrolled in MATH 110 who do not meet the appropriate placement requirements for that course (unless special permission is granted by the department chairperson).
