ACC 200 - Introduction to Financial Accounting |
Explores fundamental issues in financial accounting and reporting from the perspective of a non-accountant. Develops skills necessary to understand the impact of economic events on business financial records, and to identify and interpret elements of the financial statements. Students also learn the role of the accounting function as it relates to other areas of a business. Not open to students with credit in ACC 201.
Prerequisite: 18 credit hours completed. Open only to non-business majors.
