EDSE 670 - Advanced Secondary Planning and Instruction |
Applies theory to the practice of secondary planning and instruction. Includes the application of planning alignment, instructional strategies, cooperative learning, differentiation to meet the needs of diverse learners, content literacy, technology integration, and classroom management. Intensive in-school assignments, observations, participation, and direct contact with adolescents required. Prerequisite: EDSE 660, minimum grade of B-; permission of the secondary transition to teaching director and/or the department chairperson. Open only to secondary transition to teaching students in good standing.
