Special emphasis on order statistics, quantiles and their applications, classical and Bayesian estimation, sufficiency, completeness, uniqueness, likelihood-based approaches, hypothesis testing based on Neyman-Pearson approach, goodness-of-fit, nonparametric tests, correlation and regression, bootstrapping. Prerequisite: MATH 620 or permission of the department chairperson.
